I can't believe the brightness of the maps in 1.1. That is completly stupid.

Well this is out and out utterly pathetic. Steam co-ordinators should all be taken outside and shot. This fuXken piece of $hit has now updated at least 15 times and each time it goes to 99% and I get the "steam error.dll" or what ever the hell its called. Go in and delete the stupid clientregistry.blob and start again and again and again. Getting close to telling them they can take this $hit and stick it where the sun dosn't shine 
Sorry for the rant but it's either that or throw my pc out the window |

OK i will make an amend, only Avalanche so far is way too bright. I don't know why they did that. Caen looks good now though

Great. I noticed most of these bugs myself. THe change direction with the KAR is most annoying, since you have the impression the player is not looking at you.

Ugh i really really hate the fonts and the changes made to DOD now. The fonts when typing are a huge distraction...the new scoreboard is hard to findy our name and the brightness on avlanche is totally unacceptable. The people that are running the changes need to go back and put it the way it was...why mess with a good thing when nothing needed changing at all.

Gawd, I get that all the time in TFC. It means that the steam server you connect to is down, and all you can do is wait.

Guys we are playing a beta.  There will be bugs. Hopefully they fix the problems fast and listen to the feedback.

Is there some reason I don't have any text in game? Oh yeah and after finally getting the update, I guess I did anyway. Why didn't it download the new Kalt and crap. I had to go rename all my maps so the server would download the new ones, otherwise every server for every map said it differed from server. God I hate Valve.

Chat text not showing up. FIX: If you are running custom skin in Steam (not the dark green one), then it makes this happen. Change Steam back to Default skin to get font display back.
and for the maps, it probably hasn't got a thing to do with the maps but with the WAD's. read the link silver posted and you will know what i mean.
