Photoshop 6 help

Now I am a "newb" to PS altogether, so I really need some help on this one.

How do I get a text style I downloaded from the internet, to work with PS 6?

I am working on making my first sig and I found some better text than the default. I'm not putting a whole lot of effort into it because I just used an already made pic for the background. But I don't have alot of time on my hands anymore with homework, and the [AA] responsibilities, and trying to get promoted and all the whatnot. I have looked all over the internet for tutorials but I can't find s**t. Help is always appreciated...........or is it?

Heres what ya do - Im assuming that you dont know how to install a font:

1. download the font
2. open your control pannel of your computer
2a. there should be a "fonts" folder inside your control pannel, if its not there then you look on the left hand side of the screen and search for "view control pannel options".
2b. Click on the fonts folder.
3. copy/paste your font into the folder. If it doesnt paste in then drag/drop it in.

For getting them into photoshop it should be automatic - even when your running it I believe. If its not then try to save/restart photoshop and see if it works then. SOME fonts just dont work with photoshop - Ive seen it happen only about once in the past 2 years that Ive been using photoshop though.

Well, thanks to Potato, I now have two sigs. Not alot of effort went into them, but I am still laerning.

They do look very similar what with the skeletons. But they are two separate pictures.

I am going to try and free up more of my time so I can browse the web for better stuff to use. I have a couple pics I'd like to use, but I need some backgorund.

Alright here is one that was alot more complicated than the first two. So I am considering this my first sig instead of the previous two.

My next sig is going to include women in bikinis with guns
