How exactly do you start a kick vote. I didn't realize this was a possibility for non-Admins. I would love to know how to start one, because I occasionally come across an obvious abuser, and with no Admins around, all I could do was report it later. With kick vote, us mortal folk could help eliminate people who are screwing up the game for everyone else.

I have seen Admins start votes for maps etc. but I can never vote since the votes are always either "1" or "2". I have 1 and 2 bound, so when I hit them it doesn't vote. Is there any way to vote without changing my binds?

Octo please don't tell me I am a kiss ass. When Cycodad said it I think he was only joking around. You took it seriously. I think I am someone who exercises independent and original thought, unlike yourself who could not fathom the idea of building a freaking antimissle launcher to stop a rocket.

Also, I agreed with his feeling about Snay's attitude because I have seen some people acting like cocky bastards, when they aren't that amazing, on the ville lately. I don't want this place to have people that start acting like the asses that play counterstrike (which I just started playing, and consequently have played less and less because of the assholes and cheaters there). If I agree or disagree with someone's opinion then I will state how I feel. I agreed with what Cycodad said, therefore that is why I said what I said. Don't imply that I am some sort of puppet for the admins. What purpose would that serve for me? NONE! Think before you speak next time. And make valid, logical arguments if you want to argue something!

Monk: First type 'admin_userlist' to get a report of players and their server numbers (usually a 3 digit or less number).

Next type 'admin_vote_kick #' to start the vote rolling.

That said, kick_votes are farily ineffective as you can see from reading this thread

If you need to vote on a matter - and your 1 and 2 keys are bound elsewhere - try typing 'slot1' or 'slot2' in the console. Never tried it, but thats what 1 and 2 are bound to by default.

CycoDad: if you and the other admins don't think kick-votes are effective, why don't you remove the feature from public access?

For the record, I am not an Admin. IF I felt an admin was needed, I would have walked down the hall and gotten CyCoDaD, he was available and convienant.

I expressed my feelings directly to everyone on the server when I saw what was taking place Then I realized I accidently voted Patten off. I was a spy and just as I respawned I switched to a knife before I realized that a vote was in progress. I wasn't even there long enough to know exactly what was going on, but I KNOW patten and I KNOW he's a great player who owns me time and time again but I have NEVER known him to break the rules of the server. NOT even close.

Don't be so quick to assume. This time you are DEAD wrong.

Wait a minute. . .Am I to understand that patten got vote kicked for using remotes? That is the lamest thing I have ever heard since I have been here! If you are lame enough to vote kick because of something like that. . . . .you are just a (insert hurtfull comment here) and don't belong here.
