start up music in dod

ok, how do i change the annoying music in the main menu of dod, im trying to change it to something a little more HALOish like track 2 of the sound track Truth and Reconciliation (if you dont have the HALO soundtrack pick it up or dl it, or pm me and i can send you a song or two) but it keeps changing back to the damn original music, even after deleting it.....ideas?

if you put a cd in, it will play the first track of whatever you have in, don't know why though. and it will only play the first one.

In Programfiles\steam\steamaps\email\dayofdefeat\dod....
In the folder "media" there is a gamestartup.mp3 delete it. Move the mp3 you want to play when on the menu into the mdeia folder and rename it to gamestartup.mp3

Note: This works with all mods, just make the media folder and put the mp3 in.

is there any limit to how big the file can be cause i tried to put a song in there and it gaave me an error and then my hl froze

i put in a 7 minute long mp3...was it mp3 u put in and not wav?....might be prob...or maybe something completely unrelated to the song...just steam randomly crappin out
