When I try to get into a DOD game, the screen comes up saying: 'validating game resources' then the meter moves a few bars, then stops.
I then get a message saying that I timed out and lost the server connection. The only game I can get to work is TFC. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

I just have to say this on the account that this place used to be TFC only JUST PLAY TFC! lol jk
Ok well if its your first time playin DOD their are update files that it needs even tho it says you are dont and starts it is still downloading things, unless its giving u a specific error im pritty sure its just updateing just let it run for 10-20 min, if an error comes up plz post and ill try to help/ne1 else that also trys. it will give us more info

had the same problem although my DOD was already updated for weeks.
this helped me:

3)Open Steam and hit refresh once and let it complete it's update.
4)Close Steam
