I get home and steam updates and now all my buttons are messed up. POFS. Anyone else have this problem? They all say #Steamroo.

delete the clientregestry.blob file in your steam folder. Make sure you are out of steam first, then after deleting it, restart steam and let it reupdate.

Wow valve is really messing this steam thing up aren't they? Their like killing the HL community lol.

I reinstalled it and then my buttons were back to normal.

Of course I deleted the steam registry values after that.

I've actually havnt had too many problems with steam. I guess i'm lucky and wont talk about it. cause now i've cursed myself and steam is going to blow up my comp cause i said i havnt had too many problems.
