I made a big mistake when installing Steam. I opted to delete all my old TFC files to save space. This resulted in me losing all my custom sprites, sounds, configs etc. I now have no crosshairs and I have to rebind everything.
I figured it would be just as easy as before, but I can't figure out how to create class specific binds as they don't exist with the main config file. I tried creating them as they were before, but didn't load in game. Does anybody know where this stuff is located in the Steam folder?
Also, if I start downloading models, crosshairs and other custom stuff, where do I put them? _________________ Amen!

If you go to Steam/steamapps/youremail/team fortress classic/tfc, you can make everything there that you need. Just make the models, sprites, maps, sounds, etc folders in it. I haven't tried it but I heard that's what you do. And if you want different settings for each class, make files calles classname.cfg and put the settings in those. That's how it used to be anyway... _________________

did you put the setting to activate class configs in your userconfig.cfg file? I believe it is "setinfo ec 1" _________________ I need to make a sig, but I don't have the time. Maybe I will eventually. |

Ahh, that must be it. I will check that now. Thanks.
By the way, does anybody know what to name the class specific files? Most of them are as they would seem, but I think I remember that the Fatty file was HWG.cfg. _________________ Amen!
