If anyone's interested, I'm running a dedicated Steam DOD server from my computer.

I'd check it out but steam is not working for me on DOD. I'm glad I haven't spent hours trying to figure out how to get it working  . Oh wait, I have spent hours working on this piece of carp

LOL.....not sure why all the problems....installed and ran fine (mind you the initial hit to get into a game took a long time, but once I was in, np.....

dam that was the only server i ccould get on  since i have started all this steam shiat.still having no luck getting on the ville servers might have to give up till won is dead and the ville has converted

I don't think any of The Ville DOD servers have converted to Steam, so you shouldn't be able to connect to them. Use the server browser to find Steam servers.
