The funny thing is that I actually did read it without a problem. However, it was grammatically correct, and the words contained the right letters. _________________

Only one problem with that fact. You have to use the correct letters and place the first and last letters in the proper locations. Most times when people misspell a word they add, delete or exchange letters not just rearrange them.
Good luck trying to pass this off in an english class to a professor. _________________

apparently this does not extend to computers. Here is spell check's reading.
Occurring to rscheearch at an Flings uinervtisy, it doesn't matter in what order the letters in a word are, the only important thing is that the first and last letters are at the right place. The rest can be a total mess and you can still read it outfit problem. This is busier we do not read every letter by itself but the word as a
whole. _________________ Only in America......do they have drive-up ATM machines with Braille lettering. |

They've done research on this for awhile now, and here's what they found out about the way most people read.
As you grow up and learn to read, you begin by reading words a letter at a time, this involves one specific section of the brain. As we progress in our reading skills, another section of the brain begins to pick upand we start reading words instead of letters. This enables us to read much more smoothly and faster. For some people however, this part of the brain for one reason or another just doesn't come online properly. They are never able to have the conveyer belt part of their brain function, and so are forced to read a letter at a time. Many researchers believe this is one of the causes of dyslexia. _________________ Under construction!!! |
