ok maybe i just had my head burried for ages.. idk. but wtf is this steam update all about.. what is it.. what does it do.. i aint got a clue...
came on here the other day to see millions posted about it.. n idk what on earth it is... lol.

Hey Bobins.
Steam is pretty much the newest update for HL, but because you get most of the content from valve directly(there are alternatives) it has been a pretty slow updated process.

so where can i get it from..
and i'll wait till im in uni.. goin on sunday.. cos then i gonna have a 10mb/s connection at my finga tips n it should d/l in no time for me... but at the mo im onlin on a 150kb/s n it'll take hours. lol. if its a sbig as ppl been sayin...

It's not that the actual file is too big, it's just that you have to go through 2-3 hour wait lines to get it first. Then you have to find a time when you can connect to a Steam server and download the updates.

aaa.. so my comp will be on for about 3/4 days just waitin.. lol. fun.. real fun.
well that shouldnt be a prob.. cos the nets per connected there. n dat.. so yeah. will still be real fun. lol.
