when it seemed to get stuck on me I killed it and started again. It seems to resume where it was. Did it to me 3 times I believe.
And just when I thought it was done with its bs after 3+ hrs I go to play a game and now it needs to do a bunch more BS. So much for playing this morning. Its back to the preloading stage. Wanted to try TS and its telling me I have to install CS. WTF. TS isnt CS.
for you 2 fans of it, what causes it to get a fatal error everytime you try and launch it under winXP. My friend has XP cannot get it to even do jack. |

I quit. Everytime I run steam now it kills my net connection. Which is go to cmd, ipconfig /release then /renew. Got it back, run steam bye bye net connection again. Screw them. Im done.
Guess Ill cya for about 1-2 weeks. |

I have a question. One of my main concerns is the LAN validation thing. Is there any way I can keep my old Half-Life separated from Steam. I would use Steam on the internet and the old Half-Life for LAN games. That wouldn't be so bad for me. The updates would be annoying though.
