This weekend I went and visited some friends of mine in good Ole Miss. While I was there we took a trip down to New Orleans for a few days, and I thought I'd share a couple of pics. We pretty much got trashed as soon as we got there, and had a blast doing it. I ended up doing some salsa dances with my friend's sisters. Did I mention I had a blast? Anyways, here's the pics, hope you like them.

nice dance moves! looks like a great time in nuworlans...
I have been there several times for several reasons. I know that this time of year ( I was there at the end of August for a Degas exhibit at NOMA) it is sooo damn hot hot hot!
If you get to go back AZ, cruise down Decatur street, just past Jackson Square and visit The Abbey. Its a nice, hole in the wall bar, that has some great live music and cold beeruh!

Yeah, it was pretty fun, I managed to get some pics of some of the freaks that were there for the Southern Decadence festival (for those who don't know, it's a huge gay bash). I'll post them cause they are absolutely hilarious. This was my first trip to N O, but I hope to go back, I got some friends that march in the parade every year for Mardi Gras, so I might go with them, as they get put up in some hotel free.

It's really not super hot here(NO) the 97% humidity makes it seem hotter then it really is. |
