U guys ever get those 2 for 1 shots with the kar, but there was a third guy lined up as well and he takes no damage? This bullet can pass though walls, sandbags, and doors (not always killing the person ) but don't you think it should continue going until it hits something worth stopping it, with that much velocity, let's just assume we aren't hitting any bone here, i know alot of times on Kalt iv'e had quite a few lined up but only bagged 2.

on one TVB nights, we tried to see how much you can get by doing a line up of 3 guys, and 2 was the max that got killed.

I think I've seen a 3 in a row kill with a Kar before. Maybe you have to hit them in just the right spot.

I don't want to be the cool dude or something, but i've seen a guy shoot four guys with one shot. It was in map_Cean, when the just respawn, they walked in a row and he shot the first guy throught the head, the second guy throught the head... etc. etc. So he shot 4 guys with one shot of the Karbiner.

Believe it or not, but i've really seen it.

European 98 series Mausers
Designation: 8mm JS
Bullet Weight: 154 gr
Muzzle Velocity: 2880 fps
Muzzle Energy: 2835 ft. lbs
Dates Used: Late 1880s to mid 1950s

M1903 series, M1, light/medium machinegun role.
Designation: M2
Bullet Weight: 150 gr
Muzzle Velocity: 2740 fps
Muzzle Energy: 2500 ft. lbs.

Now being they are so close in specs....why don't they just kill the same?

The cool thing is when you google up the difference in Kar Vs Garand it is heavy with DOD sites

I think they're making the garand a one hit kill no matter where you hit in a future patch.

It's really quite simple. The Kar has a mushroom shell and the Garand has a nylon tipped shell. When the mushroom shell strikes any object it does just what its name indicates, mushrooms. When it mushrooms the actual hole created is obviously larger and therefore it can penetrate further through semi solid objects such as a head

they are both full metal jacket...nylon head...??? I dont think so.

Geneva convention...boom booms must be safe for quick and steady flight through the body...

There is no one "Geneva Convention." Like any other body of law, the laws of war have been assembled piecemeal, and are, in fact, still under construction.

It is impossible to produce a complete and up-to-date list of war crimes. Even today, weapon systems such as land mines are being debated at the highest levels of international policy.

In other words, which Geneva convention are you speaking of? Most of them refer to the treatment of prisoners of war.

I cant think of any military round that is not a FMJ design. now some snipers may use them I dont know. but for the most part they are all FMJ.

Here is a good read on different bullet types and what they do. It is on relativly newer military ammunition. Notice how the same bullet made by different people will do different damage. Scary.
