So i was kicked by the server today

Yeah as the title suggest i was kicked on TV 1 just about 2 minutes ago 2:16 CST. It said i was flooding the server. Now if i knew what flooding the server meant sure i could of done it, but i don't know what is. So anyway i would like an explanation. Oh and if it was some admin kicking me for no reason just as a joke #Fist

...i don't find it very funny as i am trying to get back into DOD and not on my real computer so it takes me longer to get in than normal.

flooding the server i think is when you type too much consecutively. at least i think. im not sure though.

Usually happens when you flood the chat with spam or "say" commands like "doh" "haha" "let's go" etc over and over.

No admin would kick you over and over again as a joke. That just doesn't happen.

It's no big deal and has happened to the best of us. Don't get all flustered over it.

I thought flooding the server could be any command, like if you send too many commands to the server, it would kick you to prevent the server from crashing or lagging. It usually is say commands, like if you hit a bound say command too much.

yeah i was kicked for flooding the server before...it said i was warned but wouldnt stop...i was never warned. i typed one thing then quickly added some more and i was kicked

It happened to me last week as well right after I got onto server. I wasn't even chatting or anything either probably just a glitch

Even us admins are not immune to some problems
