Roundabouts are safe....apart from the occasional idiots who are tired and don't notice the BIG SIGNS and drive straight over them.....but they're idiots..
I've just noticed how insane that roundabout system in the picture actually is - on most uk roundabouts you go round clockwise - makes sense...
Cept the way that one is laid out you end up going round the middle anti-clockwise....erk....I wanna find it! _________________ Most evil admin around.

Why do the british always have to invent all sorts of wierd things? I swear we should just give them back their empire so they'll be busy and stopping their nonsense _________________

Thought you might be interested in this - one of my friends has been on that roundabout system and pointed me to this:

Quote: | Though there have been 14 serious accidents and 59 lesser ones recorded in 25 years, that rate is less than one would expect for such a busy junction. Most accidents have involved cyclists and motorcyclists and now a cycle lane running right round the outside of the roundabout, with pelican crossings, should ensure that the Magic Roundabout becomes as safe as it is efficient |

"And here we have the Parliment kids"
hahaha they get stuck for hours going in circles. Good stuff.
If I drove up on that, I would have to pull over and plan out a route before driving into it. It would probably require a calculator. _________________ Recipient of POTM award
