Ping Limit

Have you ever thought of putting a ping limit on the servers? Like if someone has 600+ ping it starts to lag everyone else ya know? Well mainly there was a person with 4000 ping and it was really lagging everyone else last night, and I mean you can't play with 4000 ping any way so why not put a ping limit on the server? I dunno just a thought, you guys tell me what you think.

You can't lag a server because you have high ping. The only person that would be lagging from the 4000 ping is the guy that has it. So putting a ping limit would be useless

I hate that plugin that kicks you for lagging! It doesn't let me even play because my numbers are high. I found how I can change settings so I can play smoothly. So even though I seem to be around 500-1000 latency, I can play, so don't say it's impossible to play on 56k.

They have that plugin on the US-V server and osiris has to disable it just so I can get on and play. I thought there was an article or something that showed that a lagging person actually uses less resources that one that has a 50 ping on a properly configured server.

People with 56k should be allowed to play!

rgr everyone ping goes higher when their is someone with extremely high ping, must be the server then I dunno. And ya kno what .. I get shot threw more walls than god knows what. tehehehe I just thought I'd say that.

That's yours, the other guy's, and the server's fault

The server checks where he is, where he fired, and checks what happened and where everything else was when he fired. If you match up with his crosshair and the time he fired, the server will say you got hit.
