CD Key

I have been playing TFC quite a bit recently. Today when I tried to connect to theville.org I, it said my CD Key was already in use. Does anybody know what the problem is, and what I could do?

Few things it could be:
1) You shared your cd key and whoever also had it was on the server at the time
2) (this is most likely) You may have just come off another server - won sometimes takes a while to register this fact, so if you try to connect to another server it will give that error
3) Some lucky git had a cd-key maker and stumbled across a valid cd-key which was yours, that is just bad luck if it is the case.

If it's none of the above, I've got no idea

If somebody managed to get my key and I cannot play, is there anything I can do?

If someone else has your key you can still play in internet games. Just not in the same game as your key is in use. Does that make any sense?

So if someone else is using your key in TVI, go to TVII. That should work. Or else still in TVI as a spec forever and then no one else using your key can get in.

Of course you could just get another key, then you'd be fine. I probably should recommend this though....

When you fisrt join a TFC match you get authorization from WON. It doesn't matter which server your on, if it's been used by anyone within the last 20 minutes you won't be able to get on.
