Saving TFC

I always play tfc, i say put bots back on like bada said...less snipers and hws. I have been seeing more people in tfc on theville, usually the same people. I say we need new maps also,i think we should vote for some new rotations, playing 2fort,warpath,avanti,2fort,warpath,avanti...gets old, goin through the rotation once. Bring back the bots, even if they do lag servers, it will keep me occupied while people show up.

The Ville never had bots when this was a thriving TFC community.

Bots suck. In fact, if I join a server and see bots, I leave. I would rather wait by myself for someone else to join. Bots are completely boring and predictable. Their ignorant chat and predictable behavior drive me nuts. Just my opinion.

The fun of this game is playing with other real people, not bots.

Playing on a Ville server will keep TFC alive here. That's it. The more we keep the server full (with real people) the more people will come to visit/play. There is no other way of keeping TFC alive here. Bots have not done and will do nothing to bring people here for TFC. If anything, bots may turn people away. I see TV2 tonight full. I see names I do not recognize. That means either NJK peeps are aliasing or new people are playing.

If you play, they will come. People see a server full all the time and it has a great atmosphere, they will add it to their favorites. Period. As for TV1 turning into DOD, I say GJ. DOD is a fun game and it's very popular. Blaming the lack of TFC interest at TheVille on 1 server's change of MOD is rediculous. YOU the player are the reason for the lack of interest in TFC here.

In fact, there is NO lack of interest in TFC here or this post would not be here. People just want to join an existing atmosphere full of regs instead of creating a game for themselves. Join. . sit. . wait. . they will come.

Once again, look at TV2 right now and remember, if you play, they will come. If you play often, they will come often.

I definitely het teh way the stupid bots talk!!! All they do is piss me off when they start talking. I don't mind playing against them, as I've always thought I needed the practice, but if I get on and I see it's me against a team of bots, I"ll leave more often than not. It's just more fun to play against people I know. Such as tonight, when the damned murderball sucked me in!!!!

First off...TFC did change once TV1 converted to DoD.

Second...what's done-is-done and we must move on.

Third...theville has its ups-and-downs so look on the bright side, let things come and accept what happened.

So there's no use in bickering that oh, let's save tfc, oh tfc is dying, oh tfc is dying at theville yada yada yada. I'm sick of that already aren't you???Man...same ol routine I swear. I get irritated every friggin time I come back and see the same ol topics!!!

Look on the bright side and just let it go...FFS!!! TFC is just a game. The sole purpose of theville is to make friends, be happy and frag each other till we puke. So what if TFC is dying at theville. Hey I got a solution for ya...GO TO ANOTHER SERVER.

Things will fall in its place here..give it time instead of resurecting these tedious topics that feeds the community more frustration than what its worth. Just know that theville still stands and that is more important then TFC alone...so let's have hope in that because we still have each other ie. teh gaming community.

If you do not like to read the topics, don't click on them.

There's no need to bash people for caring about what goes on here. I commend anyone trying to help bring people in/keep people playing here. That's what this post is about.

We do not want good people to go to another server as you put it. I think it's a good thing that some are doing all they can to help keep TFC a float. Yes, TheVille has it's ups and downs, but that does not mean we should just ignore TFC and never talk about it like it's the red headed step child locked in the closet.

If you don't enjoy reading a thread. . don't read it?

I suspect that tfc has finally run its course. The only way I will go back to a tf game is if they make a hl2 engine mod of it. Or better yet, release tf2... #Vamp

When i first came here over a year ago, i didnt come here and play and make it my home because it had tf. i came here and played because of the atmosphere and family. I have been here since Jan, 2002 and i dont think if we lose TF that it will hurt the ville. The Ville will be here long after TF dies and gets buried. I personally dont think tf is dying but thats me. You guys realize that dod and ns will be severely hurt once HL2 comes out. Do you honestly think that will cause the downfall of the ville?? I think not. i have been here for long enough to see some things that happened. I have watched the servers get changed, i have seen people get banned, and i have seen mods come and go. Remember Neo TF?? Its gone but the ville is still here. The Ville will remain a great and fun place for people of all ages to hang out and game long after tf and dod are gone. So stop arguing about Tf's death and just let it be. if you play it fine. If you dont play it, fine also. Just know that The ville will be here as long as we take care of it.
