Yeah, I made some sort of picture thing that you attach to the end of your message-thing-a-ma-bobber in a "board" of some sort, for some crazy guy named "Lio".....check it out!!
Notice the HAND-DONE lighting and shadows, with absolutly NO, I repeat, NO filters used, which alone took several tedious hours of drawing.
Wanna look at it again? See it? Notice the hand-done lights and shadows? See them some more? Ooo, look over there, see the tedious work put into making those awesome un-filtered lights and shadows? Isn't it cool?
See it some more?
(if you havn't noticed, I'm very proud of this work and would like to make it known that I didn't use filters or effects for the lighting and shadows, but instead did hours of tedious drawing for ultimate coolness ) _________________

You know...you could have gotten the same effect - much faster - if you would have just used the standard filters and lighting effects. What a way to waste time.

Actually, I couldn't The lighting filters in both PS and PSP are the spawn of all evil if you're trying to light multiple things, as they don't recognize the curves and corners in objects.
I could put a light in the top right corner of the picture, and it would light the area up. It would not, however:
Put a brighter light where a surface might be reflective
Recognize that an object might turn, there by brightening or darkening it's surface, depending on if the object curved towards or away from the light source.
Place proper shadows.
Light the exact area that I want lighted. If I want less light, I have to play with the light sources for an hour. If I want more light, I have to play with the light sources for 3 hours. Why 3 hours? Because if 2 light sources overlap by even a milimeter, the light in that area pretty much doubles it's intensity. Ever try making it look like a sun is lighting an area, realize that one light source can't cover all of it, then have to make another light source to cover the rest, only to find out that there is no way to make the light look normal with 2 light sources? My current sig is a perfect example of this. It did take 3 HOURS to get the light correct. And even then, it didn't look right, so I had to go in and light most of it by hand, without a filter.
Even if you can get some lighting effects right, it still looks better if you do it by hand Just so you know, Shark _________________
