hey i have a mouse with a roller on it..
now i've gotten used to usin this to change wepon.. but i keep gettin this ultra anoyin problem
after a while.. or playin..
when i go to change weapon wiv the roller hl crashes.. then wont run again till i restart.. this is drivin me nutts.. anyone know y this is happenin or how to fix it..

Sounds like a trackball mouse to me. You might want to see if the mouse has updated drivers. I know that logitech and MS have some, so it is worth a shot. _________________ Been chasing since May 2001!

yeah it is.. was anoyin me so dam much..
and my mouse.. is a packard bell..
i'll check for drivers.. in a sec... its worth a shot..
it's just so dam frustratin.. cos if i want to re-join a game i got to re-start my comp.. cos once hl crashes it performs an illegal op if i try n open it again... _________________

you wouldn't think not having the latest drivers would do someting that odd (you probably did but did you check your binds bobs, they may have gotten screwed up) |

I use an iMac mouse myself, it is so much easier to smash the mouse down anywhere and it will click.
BTW what he ment was is it a mouse with the wheel on top where you roll it around or is it a scroll mouse, like the microsoft ones. _________________

I had a Packard Bell...about 9 years ago!
But seriously, PB no longer exists as they were bought out by NEC not too long ago. Sorry, can't help. |
