The distribution center is not a Target store, it's a big ass warehouse, 1.2 million square feet to be exact, that houses all of the items that go into the stores. _________________

Yeah I was gonna get a job for the summer, and I applied at 8 places, but it didnt turn out so well.
Fred Meyer even sent me a "We're sorry, but you suck, and we can't hire you" note in the mail, and Blockbuster doesn't hire anyone unless you're 18

Congrats, Rob! And the bonus is, you probably won't have to wear the red shirt in the warehouse...W00t!
Target is getting so huge! They started opening around here just a few years ago and are everywhere now. I know they've been in other areas much longer. Did you know that Walmart is now the largest employer in the country?!? That really shocked me. I guess we really are a consumer economy now and not a manufacturing one.
Well, I hope the new jobs come in threes... or since it sounds like more than just three Villuns have been looking for work, maybe tens or twenties. I myself have been told my job will be going away when a new system is rolled out to replace the system I work on. Only it is overbudget and behind schedule, so I may have till early next year... or middle of next year... or late next year. Or they could reorganize the remaining employees and lay me off next week. Ahhh the sense of security. Can you feel the corporate love?
Oh well, at least the D.C. metro area isn't too bad compared to the rest of the country. There are all these national security related government contracts getting handed out to firms all over here. Not that I know anything about that kind of work, but at least there are some jobs.
Good luck to you on the new job, Rob! And good luck to those still looking.

OMG, 2 days and 2 posts from Cadmann! Is the world coming to an end? Is the Messiah coming? Can Cadmann really squeeze into a 4XL TheVille thong?
More at 10! Pictures at 11! (Uh Oh, better not have pictures)

I thinks it's great Rob has a job. If your a newbie to TheVille, Rob and I worked together and became friends and fellow TheVille addicts. Why I could dare say I taught Rob everything I know. Course that only took 3, maybe 4 minutes tops!
Grats again Rob!

Hey Rob, if I send you a list of things I'm looking for, can you make sure the store here gets them?
Thanks.
