I am proud to be a US citizen who can piss and moan about the state of our government without worrying about getting locked up as a traitor or political prisoner.

I am thankful for the men and women who have given their lives to ensure the freedoms I enjoy today.

I am grateful for the chance to experience life in a country where I do not have to fear for my life or that of my family's every day.

I am proud to be a part of such a diverse and varied culture that does not kill because of physical, religious or philosophical differences.

I am proud to have the opportunity to burn my thumb or blister a few fingers when the bottle rocket's back splash hits my hand!

May you all have a great Independence Day and my you see glorious fireworks and celebrations. BTW, dont drink and drive. Find a designated driver, take a taxi or stay the night where you intend to party! PEACE!!!!
