i have tried the site and the link but for some reason it is not downloading for me sigh... if there was an easy download link that would be helpful for those that play diablo2.. i enjoy the game and all just curious as to how i get the patch if my computer is not excepting it?

Wow so I've been playing the beta patch on a tcp/ip server with a friend of mine for a while. We're currently at act 1, quest 5 normal. I decided to create an elemental druid to see if his skills were actually improved, the synergies look pretty cool, and I was actually r00ning those little fallen sobs in act 1 (yes I know, the thought of an elemental druid that can actually KILL anything might seem far fetched, but blizzard finally made them worthwhile to play) of course I haven't gotten to nm yet, so we have yet to see how good he will be at later levels.

The overall difficulty of the game has increased as well, I've had to retreat from a pack of random unique bosses more than once, and think of a different strategy to take them down. It's no longer simply thoughtless click click click click click click clicking for hours on end.

Rares have increased in quality quite a bit. According to someone on the blizz forums, he gambled a rare assn katar with 304% ed.

All in all, i'm quite impressed with what I have seen so far, albeit some bugs that still exist in the beta build.

Sorry, no realms for the patch. So open and closed won't work. We can play a tcp/ip game tho.
