i originaly asked this in DOD but no1 seems to of known a solution.. or just didnt post one.. so i thought i'd post it in here too.. as i konw virtually everyone checks the gen section.. well i always do.. lol. anyway.. this is what i need help on.. this is waht i wrote in DOD

now i never lag on tfc.. not since i got my 128k connection..
but on DOD.. as soon as i go near another unit, on certain maps.. i have lag spikes up in the thousands.. n i cant stand it..
but then on other maps i can play the wholemap.. no matter what sercumstansed.. wiv a constant ping of between 1 n 2 hunded..
any ideas on what could be causin me to have lag spiks on certain maps n not others n how i could possible prevent this.. cos when i can actually play n dont have the spikes im kinda enjoyin DOD n would like to practice at it.. but im finding it almost impossible with the lag im gettin..

Hmmm, i dunno. I used to have a prob where i used to get fps in the single digits except when turned and looked in one specific direction. My solution was to re-instal DOD. Try doing that.

i htink thats work.. just played two maps and didnt have any lag spikes.. will try it out on the ville servers.. (where i know i used to lagg) as soon as there's a slot available.. lol.
