.... to be added on Ville DoD servers are the custom sounds (lol, bringit, etc). Is it possible?

I don't know if that is a good idea....maybe only a few. I know that it is really irritating to have to wait while 30 sounds download. This wouldn't be a problem for the regulars (cause they can dl a sound pack from theville) but all new players would need to download the files before they joined.
just my 2 cents

 scratch what I said above. Silverone just reminded me we can make the sounds optional...so if you don't have them...you won't hear them.

Or it could be optional like it is now. If you want to hear the sounds then you have to download them from the website. I'm not a fan of alot of ingame downloads either.

Indeed, that also piss me off.
One thing that may not be apparent, is that by pointing out the website to download these sounds, we make new people discover the community behind it.
Typical example: One new peep wants the sounds to laugh at BRN each time he kills him (which is a lot because he is an easy target....), discovers the website, reads the forum, and says to himself "wow, this Paddyjack guy is cool and always interesting to read, I have to join this community to read him every day!".
Maybe he will even pay for it

He has a good point. tv1 is never empty, think how many people go there every day. I think you should advertise the website a lot more when you connect, people have nothing else to do while waiting.

But why? You don't need to have them. All it changes is that those with the files on their computer will hear a laughing sound when someone type "lol". All the others not having the files will simply read "lol" as before.

No big reasons, it's just kind of distracting seeing the chat and then one line shows up in a different color. So while I'm looking down at the chat, some fascist with a Karbiner sneaks up, shoots me in the leg, killing me and the 3 guys behind me... But I exagerate.
Also, it just gives more people an excuse to say useless stuff over the chat. It's been a while since I've heard the sound pack, but I think it's just stuff like lol, haha, brb, spam, etc. Maybe if there was a pack with realistic, helpful sound bites it would be a different story (not that I can think of any that aren't covered with the in-game sounds).
But, that's just my opinion. I won't cry (for very long) if a sound pack is installed.

yeah, ok. Maybe only a minority of sounds could be installed, like lol and bringit, and brb. I liked very much the "ass" sound too.....
