I'll wait for the movie and then come up with excuses of why not to watch it. Seemed to work for the others. I probably should sit down and watch em.

It's much quicker sitting thru a movie then it is reading a book. I don't have that kind of time to read it.

The movies also miss and change a lot of things that are in the books. Plus, books give you a better feel of the story and allow you to - take off of sponge bob here - use your IMAAAAAGINAAAAATION. I've read a lot of books that have been turned into movies, and IMHO, the books are always better.

And don't tell me you don't have time. If you can spare enough time to read 5 pages per day, you have time. And your mind will thank you for letting it exercise it's IMAAAAAGINAAATION.

Yes newbie I had to take a 10 minute pause after reading that sentence it was a very remberable moment(thats right ron is past that age now ) that was crude im sorry.

The new book has 890 or something like that but it only tok me 4 days!although I was reading 200 pages a day and I got up a 3:30 one morning just to satisfy my fix.

And the mighty Spongebob is very wise indeed and imiganation is a key part you sort of get a picture in your head of everything happening and seem to learn more about the charcters personalities better

One of my favorite things about the book is how J.K. Rowling sneaks in those resemblences between how the Ministry acted being like the government and the quick remarks all through the book by the charcters

on a rating scale from 1-10 I give this book a 20394578203948511083702394859999999999999991234981726349815629386192387456921834756298+1

I got it the day it was released and read it in about 8 hours (766 pages btw, not 890).
While it ain't as exciting in terms of action as Goblet of Fire was, it's still fantastic cos it has so much back story to read. I loved all of that!

Will probably read it again soon, more slowly....just as soon as my mum gives it back :-p
