I worked with a guy that though he would be cool and start smoking. He was not the brightest, he rolled up a hashbrown bag from work (At McD's) and with nothing at all in it try to smoke it _________________ http://www.barbertonrhps.com - The offical Website for Barberton's West Theater Rocky Horror Picture Show in Ohio

I really can't stand the smell of a cigarette. When someone lights one up it makes me gag. What I love doing is when someone lights one of those deathsticks in a non smoking area is cough really loud before it is even lit and continue until they put it out which may be a full 5 minutes later but I got the point across to them _________________ Over your dead body! |

I honestly have no problem with smokers, unless it is indoors. Then It irratates me physically, my eyes water, and the smoke occasionally burns my nose. Other than that, I do not care. I have been using tobacco products now for almost 20 years. Quiting is a mindset, nothing more. I have stopped briefly in the past but started up again because I wanted to. Quiting is not easy but it is much easier to quit when you want to quit. The chemical depency usually takes a week or 2. The mental part is the thing that takes a while. _________________

| For those who want to quit, I know there are lots of patches, gum, pills and the such out there. Which for some people might work....for awhile, for some maybe longer or forever. But like alot of you have said a big part of it is in your mind. Anyway my ever caring mother loves to send me all those great little articles she is always cutting out about smoking and such. Don't tell her, but sometimes I actually read them, anyway one of the articles was for an injection that is suppose to come out in 2006 that does more than feed your body nicotine in a healthy matter. It will somehow effect the chemicals in your brain (sounds scary) to get rid of the need for a cigarette. Sounds good, but it will probably go down just like the patches and gum. The only reason I give it a chance is because it will supposedly do more than just give you a fix of nicotine. |
