Just like a slow computer running warpath, it chokes cause its a crappy map and hogs on a computer. Not bandwidth. Because my computer is a 2 ghz machine it doenst even touch it cpu wise.
I can understand Dannos feelings on TV1, I saw it empty soo much of late. Switch it to D0D and its very popular, and not at the expense of TV4. TV2 for whatever reason hasnt been popular even when it was the only other D0D server. So now instead on one busy D0D server we have two.
TV6 is hit and miss, kinda like TV1 but worse. PPl get on like last night and play and have fun, cept last night my mistake was I had TFC and ET running at the same time and never expected both to be full, especially with the recent attitudes of quite a few of TV6. Hard to swallow money and time when ET fills up like D0D did on TV1. So sorry bout the lag last night, it was my fault.
Me personally, Ive said this before, and Ill say it again. Ill play on TV2, TV3 (when its not at 9 fps) or TV6 of TFC. Oh, my pings will be a good 60-70 on TV6 or a little higher at 120-150 on TV2. And you know what, Ill go out and have fun with the ppl I consider friends, maybe not personal ones, but all the same friends. This is the part I guess where ppl take crap too damn seriously and forget to just go out and have a fun time. Ive had terrible connection probs with my charter connection. 300-500 pings, oh ya, I still played and had fun. Maybe not the way I would normally do, but I made the best of it. I guess thats what Im trying to say is just make the best of whats here.
The part that pisses me off the most though is the ones that bitch, whine complain and dont give one damn bit of input except give us our TV1 back or I'm just going somewhere else. Well to you, I say GROW UP. |

I wasn't bragging about it, I was asking how it helps you play. Someone made a post about it and I tried it and it didn't seem any different. I don't even play HW anymore and rarely play TFC even. I also don't do leagues so why does it matter? 
So let me ask again:
How does using interp help you play HWGuy?

there is no need to bash either TFC or D0D, nor to say "tfc is dying blah blah", that does hurt to hear that... i still love tfc, not denying whatever teh situation is, i just dont see the need to say something that comes off as a tone meant to belittle something some people hold dear... TV is better than that, and if you want to disagree on that well then ur stupid

still haven't seen you in game blown to get my rates fixed up. hopefully soon i will but i'm working till 11 this week so it may ahve tow ait till the weekend.
otherwise its jsut something to get used to and if i wanna paly here ( and i do) its something myself and everyoen else will ahve to do.
I've tried other servers and it wasn't untill i left the ville that i realized how good the rules/people are here. i'm sure there are others similar, but why go somewhere else and be a n00b again?

Yes, DoD is in the stage where it teems with 'noobie' pubbers. I'll agree it will bring in more. It's just sad to see 'the place' for TheVille TFC convert to the darkside. Teamstacking isn't any better imo though. I was watching VP play on Anzio and the score was literally like 500-0.
TVIII is generally unplayable. Whenever I go there EVERYONE pings in the 200-400s. I like TV VI, but I, along with many others, simply cannot ping well to Oregon. I've been on games of Avanti where 1/2 the server has a 400 ping. Sometimes I'm lucky and ping around 140. I appreciate the server being there though and thank Blown for dealing with the crap.
Private servers are great for events and concmaps, but not for everyday pubbing. Want to try a private DoD server?
The 'YOU HAVE 3 SERVERS QUIT WHINING' remark is extremely shallow.
