Just wondering if anyone else uses this anymore? I feel alone not belonging to any 'group'. If there's interest I'll set something up! _________________

Pretty cool. Although I would say that if they have not made any contact by now it's very unlikely there is any extraterrestrial life beyond earth.
SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

Interesting perspective but a bit short sighted in my opinion. To assume that a universe of our size is populated by only one species is difficult for me to come to terms with. Rather, I would suggest that the overhwelming size of space has an influence on the results of data collected to date. To that end, it's possible that 'radio waves' are a phenomenon exclusive to Earth.

Didn't we establish, with the Mars Lander, that there was evidence of microscopic life at some point in the past?
I do believe this is where most life begins... In Mars' case, things changed and it died out. In our case, we kept growing.... _________________

That is true. Some alien race might have plopped us down here to grow us as food.... _________________
