[FingerDemon]

I've been puzzling over this one, and I can't figure it out. When I bind my "c" key to dropitems, it works in a created LAN game. But when I join the Ville, I can't drop the flag with "c". I looked to see if I was double binding it or something, but I don't think I am. Even if I was, how would it work in LAN?

If anybody has an idea, I'd love to hear it. If I can't fix it, I'll just have to leave the "c" key alone and bind to something else.

I don't have anything else to say, I just wanted to see the eye rolling thing since I just figured out how to do it.

In your console type the following
bind c
to see what TFC thinks is binded to your c button. It should be dropitems. If nothing comes up, or it trys to tell you how to bind a key, type the following
bind c dropitems

I have no problems dropping the flag. Except you can't drop the flag in Avanti, that may be your problem.

Why in most other capture the flag maps your allowed to Drop the flag, but not in avanti??

LOL, you can't in Avanti!?! DOH! Ok, that pretty much answers my question right there. So, if you've seen a soldier walking haltingly in the streets shaking his hands vigorously to break his grip from the flag pole while snipers drew a bead on him, that was probably me.

I second EagleEyes question, does anyone know why you can't drop flag in Avanti?

Only in avanti... no wonder I didn't know it was working, Avanti is like the only flag based map I usually play here.
