Hey guys, thanks for the responses. I can't tell you how much of a boost to the ol' morale it is to hear those words of welcome. I can say that while my first day back was shaping up rottenly, since my phone company decided to cancel my subscription instead of putting it on hold, and I didn't have my truck, it has now been turned around completely, which is to say I"ve finally gotten a few drinks of the bubbly nature in me, as well as some good food, and friends are on their way. I shall get photos of my trip to the hot dirty place up as soon as I can get them on my site (and developed, old habits die hard). Once again, thanks for all the support you guys have given, it all helped us get through the tough times. Just to head off any rumors though.... I didn't shoot anyone while I was in Iraq. My job had more to do with ensuring that the Marines there had a solid grasp on Iraqi culture, as well as communicating with the locals in order to keep loss of life to a minimum. I am proud to say that not a single Iraqi civilian was killed or injured by any of the units I worked with. To me, that was a sign of a job well done. Sorry, I think the Margaritas have gotten to me, I shall sign off until I regain control of my sentiments...... see you all in game, I think I might have to check out this DoD thing for myself. _________________ Under construction!!! |

Welcome home Az. You know as well as I do that $10,000 isn't squat in todays world. You stated that you were going to be getting out of the military soon, why waste all of your military experience in foreign interaction in the middle east ? There are groups around that specialize in the recovery of children who were abducted by they're middle eastern fathers and brought back to their countries to live and out of reach of our custody laws.
You could go to school for law enforcement training and eventually start your own International Child Recovery Agency since you have been there so many times. Heck, it would probably be exciting work, where else besides the military/government would a person get paid to travel around the world investigating and bring innocent kids back home to they're awaiting mothers. a success story Here is a list of various sites detailing Spousal Abduction Missing Children and Vanished Children's Alliance or you could go here Parental Abduction Resources.
*Check this out first
Then there are the jobs that you would not have a problem getting-
Homeland Security
USAJobs
G.I Jobs
Why not stay in the military and move on and do other things while going to school there ? _________________ http://www.nosmacktards.com |

Thanks again guys for all your support. Just to let you all know, I'm going to update my web-page this weekend to include most of the pictures I took over inIraq. I don't think there are any pictures of me, but that's cause I did all the taking. Anyways, I'll post here when I get them all uploaded. _________________ Under construction!!! |
