Frag you know it was long before interp was discovered, and at the point in time no one knew how to bunnyhop at the ville, or at least do it effectively.

He was up to something because people dropped in half the time that they normally did to a HW. I give him credit for nothing. He was the type that was so paranoid that he had to dominate and talk shit to others to be happy. Need I remind you of the rants he had in PWG forums? That'd be the type that would have no problem cheating to stay on top. He was suspected by many but he got himself banned via attitude before he could get busted.

LOL! No kidding. Interp is a major no-no. And just because it wasn't common knowledge doesn't mean it wasn't used. Chop-hop started becoming common knowledge when the Euros made a lot of hype and even used it in matches.

Now:

TV1: Full
Other DoD server: Still has a lot of room
Other other: 0

Now, I had compiled a list of player numbers just before the TV1 switch. Someone said DoD was WAY more popular and TV1 never had any players because of teamstacking. So during prime times of the week (about 6:00 pm - 12:00 am) I recorded the player numbers on the servers. Each one on a different day sometime around my work schedule.

In no way was TFC dead. JFYI. Notice also that the server did not suffer 'popularity damage' from teamstacking.

However, I realize it is Danno's server, and he can do with it as he pleases. And by all means, he should.

How can 12/16, 15/16, 16/16, 16/16 be qualified as having lot of room?!! I think that 0/16 was an anomaly, I never saw something like that on tv4 unless it was down.

FYI, TV2 was not a DoD server. This should have been changed 2 months ago. That server never made the switch to 1.0.

However,
There was clearly TFC players on TV1, though rarely at full capacity. On the other hand, with DoD, that server is always full.

Well i agree tfc was not dead on tv1.

As for cheaters on DOD, heck i have only busted one since I have started playing it. If anything what you are seeing is just pure skill. Same thing with TFC, when i first started playing i thought everyone hacked, but soon learned i was just not very good at it. Dont bash a whole mod just because you are not good at it. Theres cheaters in every mod.. Like Paddy said show me the proof.

Whats this one shot one kill BS? You can do the same thing in TFC.

The only time TV1 was full was when all the league players were on. Rarely was there any pubbers on at all. And if a Pubber did come on to enjoy a game, all the league players would just bash em about league rules(Or stack the teams) until they left. So soon we lost all the pubbers coming to one, cause the league players treated tv1 as there private little playground. Heck thats why i changed tv1's name to "Tv1.theville.org - Not A league Server"

And the team stacking done between clans was also starting to get ridiculous. Heck i even saw in the logs when a clan member would come on and there were no slots available on a certain team where there was fellow clan members that somebody would turn off auto teambalance on the server so that player could join the "Stacked Team". Wich usually equals the other team get smacked, and usually left.

THESE ARE FACTS, THAT I SAW HAPPENING ON TV1.

When i gets to a point to where i dont even like playing on my own server, well that kinda pisses me off.

It even got to a point where i got sick of playing on my own server because i was extremely FED UP with that league BS. Im not saying it was all you league players..

Enough of this BS about tv1, things change get used to and stop the whining. We got three other server's running tfc visit them. A little higher ping is not going to hurt you.

I hope this is the end of all this whining about the change. Like I have said before, I am doing my best to bring new people to Theville to keep it growing, but by tv1 being the way it was it was doing nothing. As soon as it switched to DOD, i cant even tell you about how many new people have come here.

Yes, DoD is in the stage where it teems with 'noobie' pubbers. I'll agree it will bring in more. It's just sad to see 'the place' for TheVille TFC convert to the darkside. Teamstacking isn't any better imo though. I was watching VP play on Anzio and the score was literally like 500-0.

TVIII is generally unplayable. Whenever I go there EVERYONE pings in the 200-400s. I like TV VI, but I, along with many others, simply cannot ping well to Oregon. I've been on games of Avanti where 1/2 the server has a 400 ping. Sometimes I'm lucky and ping around 140. I appreciate the server being there though and thank Blown for dealing with the crap.

Private servers are great for events and concmaps, but not for everyday pubbing. Want to try a private DoD server?

The 'YOU HAVE 3 SERVERS QUIT WHINING' remark is extremely shallow.

How about the many other posts that people have made to bash the change i made and to change tv1 back? And not to mention the bashes on DOD. Oh and what about the posts, that said something similar to, "Since the tv1 switchover I am going to start playing elsewhere?"

Those remarks and actions and attitudes are whats killing tfc here.

Any server with a little tlc can be made to perform like tv1 did, it just takes some work. Id be more than happy to put some time in to helping the other server admins to get them working good.

If you want to keep tfc alive at TheVille Start playing on the other tfc servers we have, a little higher ping is not going to hurt you(adapt and overcome).

Sorry for the attitude, I just am starting to get sick of all these posts now...
