This is how my former state, city, and airport is ran...
DEC 2002 - My car failed the emissions (smog) tests twice costing $800 in "repairs" to get the car in "compliance." Neither repair worked.
JAN 2002 - I move to Las Vegas. I cancel my car insurance. Prior to that I inform the post office and the state of Illinois that I will no longer be in the state/testing region
FEB 2002 - I got auto insurance, register my car and VIN #, and TURN IN THE OLD ILLINOIS PLATES. My car also passed the smog (emsission) test easily.
TWO DAYS AGO - I got a notice from the state of Illinois (addressed to my old address and forwarded to me) that my Illinois plates have been "suspended." This was due to the fact of not complying with the Illinois emissions regulations. It said that I will be unable to renew my Illinois license plate and ID in Septemeber.
THAT'S FIVE MONTHS AFTER INFORMING THE STATE I AM LEAVING.
bj Illinois...
Another pathetic story...
In November of 2001 (after having my car broken into three times in a year) my car was stolen from out front of my apt bldg. I call the Chicago Police Dept. What's the first thing the cop does? He starts yelling at me about my Chicago City Sticker ($82 per year) was out of date. The problem was that the sticker was bought and paid for FOUR MONTHS PRIOR! His response after me saying that was "Well maybe the system didn't update." No s*** Captain Genious.
O'Hare Airport
I got brought back from my gate 20 mins after I pass through the security checkpoints. Apparently their "system wasn't working." I got treated rudely and near criminal. I'm not expecting friendly service, but cordial or straight forward would do.
I sit down in the Fox Sports Net Lounge for two minutes to get a book out of my travel case. I'm sitting in a not busy part of the place. The waitress instantly comes up and say "You can't sit here so you need to order something." I naturally order a Coke. She's pissed and doesn't bother bringing it out. 20 mins later I leave.
I should've known that the trip was cursed. The plane got struck by lightning descending into Chicago and had a two hour delay leaving Chicago back to Vegas.

That first reminds of the story about the INS issuing the Visas to the some of the arabs that took part in Sept. 11th like 6 months after Sept. 11th. Everybody lets say it together "BUREAUCRACY".
Also Frag your such a . Didn't you know in todays social police state you are suppose to grease the palms of the "Airport Sercurity". When they called you back since you failed to pay them off, they had to criminalize you to validate confiscating some "Booty". hehe
Don't worry I am sure Atlanta has Chicago beat. |

Well in the news tonight they were talking about a chicago woman who was lockedup and charged with manslaughter after killing her boyfriend/husband with her size 12 high heel pump by hitting him multiple times about the head, throat and body.
Nothing from up there shocks me Frag _________________ http://www.nosmacktards.com |

Yep, that pretty much sums up chicago and IL Frag.. Nothing but rude people all over the place. I have been alot of differnt places, but i must say the state where i live sucks.
Frags right about the whole city sticker thing, on my way to work one morning running late i got pulled over by "Chicagos Finest" and was forced to go to the Police station and post bond!
Got me for failure to produce(Cause i was driving on a ticket and left it at my house 2 blocks away, any other city would let you off, or go back an get it)
Turning right on red between 7:00am and 9:00a, only illeagal then...(Like i said i was in a hurry and as i remember it was only like 7:03)
And of course no city sticker. (Cause in the city they steal your plate stickers and city stickers right off your car, they could look it up but there to damn lazy)
So i got a court date and as usuall the court was so busy the judge asked people to form 2 lines, those who were pleading guilty and those who were pleading not guilty. I got in the second line, and the judge dropped all tickets and just charged me court costs.. 20 bucks or so.
I wish they would have paid me for the time i had to take off work... |

LOL
Chicago's Finest usually are the most overweight in America. Some of them are so fat that it's like league rules...no chasing. It's almost a law that a Chicago Officer must have his gut hanging over the belt by year five. This of course is due to free donuts at Dunkin' Donuts or Krispy Kreme. It's also due to the restaurants they sit at because they eat there free. You don't see a Chicago Cop have to pay for a meal in a restaurant they are at. It's assumed it free or they don't eat there. _________________ Yes, I'm still around

Chitown's finest...
OK, how about a former county sheriff of ours who was a memeber of the district drug task force...
Arrested and charged with possession and traffic of marijuana...
By a D.A who later was indicted for something-or-other...(don't know if he was ever convicted, though). _________________
