I was wondering if you guys are gonna use the new neo mod. It would definitely be sweet to trap those llamas in boxes lol.

I just saw on planethalflife that a new version of the mod was just released and along with many other new things, if an admin feels someone is being a llama, he could surround him in a clear box for as long as he wishes kind of like a penalty box. Definitley will limit the llamas.

The latest version that came out today (which we will be using) doesn't include the llama boxes. It looks like they were testing those for an upcoming release.

That sucks and I know that everyone would love to put those llamas in a box right in the middle of action haha.

Is this the release that lets medics upgrade MGs?

It's an option, and it's an option I'm leaving out. I really don't think an MG that shoots crowbars would be that... great.

I still have to ask who gets points for mg kills? If it is just the engy's then the mod is still too heavily geared towards engy's.

I think that the mod would be better if the mg kills were shared by the engy and the upgrader. It would also encourage more upgrading now wouldn't it?

Rob, true a crowbar shooting mg would not be that great... hilarious would be a better description, would it be possible to initiate it on atleast one of the servers? mayby just for this week and see what kind of feedback it gets? or mayby not.... this is your house, I just like more toys in the playground

I don't like all the toys bouncing me around. It's rediculous on the neo servers. I know, I know... it's no stats week, but perhaps the new neo stuff coulda waited until after no stats week?
I still think the medics get shafted. We need a spiderweb gun, one that traps enemy players in it and slowly drains their health. Or at least gas grenades. Oh well, just more things to make n00b's *cough* llamas *cough* entertained I guess. As well as the rest of us tearing our hair out trying to explain what all the *other* little things on the ground are.

The remote rockets are the best thing that I have ever seen. This new version is simply amazing. Everyone needs to try it out.

Those remote rockets are pretty cheap on avanti especially b4 the gates open. Just launch a few over and you can easily kill a couple of guys.

Also the new pyro upgrade mg is pretty sweet!

Yes the avanti map allows the remote rocket to to travel straight over walls throughout the map. It will open up a whole new respawn arena. The good news is the rockets are weak.
