anyway ill be there, i never got more than the bare basics of anything and ahvnt played it in forever... hope its not a nice evening so i can get out of work at a reasonable hour

I will show but probably a little late to make sure that those that don't have a reserved slot can get in. Hopefully the server is set up with reserved slots  .

I was there for a while and then left to do something and came back. I couldn't hear anything they were saying so I didn't learn much from that. Later on, I learned a few thing in combat, ailien weapons, welding, and destroying things. I didn't get a chance to do ailien yet.

Cool glad it was helpful and that everyone who made it was able to make it. Don't worry, for those of you who couldn't we will probably have another NS Newby Night in the future for people who couldnt make it or people who still want to learn more.
Sorry to hear about that Frag, but for a while inthe game everyone got choppy, the ping was up around 800 when about 25 people were on the server all doing stuff with both teams building things, the server was bending under the stress.

When we have another one, I'll try ailien. Haven't even played it yet as ailien.
