Natural Selection Newbie Night - Tues 6/3

Since a lot of people have said that they wanted to play Natural Selection more but are totally lost and dont want to RTFM, we have decided to host a "Natural Selection Newbie Night" this Tuesday the 3rd at 8pm Ville time. Your hosts will be myself and YPAWOM, we will divvy up the class and take you each on to one of the teams and show you what the game is all about, and how to play as Marines and as Aliens.

What: First NSNN - Natural Selection Newbie Night
Where: TV8 (password: newbie)
When: Tuesday 6/3 8:00PM Ville time (CST) - That's 9pm eastern, 6pm pacific.
Who: Anyone who wants to learn Natural Selection!
How Long: Give yourself about an hour each to play each side

If you're planning on showing, post a response here so we know what the turnout will be. See the Natural Selection forums for basic strategy info which is a good read before we get in game.

You TFC oldies if you've been meaning to play NS, but never had the time to learn on your own, this is the perfect thing for you, So come along, it'll be fun.

Also as a beginner thing when you load Natural Selection instead of reading that huge manuel, you can just watch the short slideshow. It will be in your Half-Life/NS folder and will be called ns_slideshow.exe

and i still have things to learn on the marine side

.. but i am always at my best with aliens

Both MPI and I think GellyRoll should be there. I'll talk to her and see if I can't wrangle her into it. She tried playing NS a while ago, but it got so confusing for her that she gave up and went back to TFC. What a shame.
