Weird/Funny Reason for not getting a Job/Interview

I was applying for a Collection's Rep position. I was turned down by the company because my resume was "too technical."

Anyone want to decode that for me? I was given a strong theory on what it means. I want to see what others think.

Anyone else have an experience like this dumb?

Your obviously a threat to the ones doing the hiring. They don't want you making them look bad probably because your resume looks better than theirs.

Thus the ever popular "over qualified".......all though I must say "Too Technical" is a new one....means the same thing though.

They may also think you wouldn't be happy in the job and leave shortly after getting it.....then they would have to do the hiring thing all over again.

They could be just sacred of "tha THANKING MAN". Took one look at that resume and said "no way this guy would be another numbless drone in our colletive hive."

But really Thunder and Oldman are probably right. If it is coming off to technoish. Then you need to reword the thing on your resume to better fit whatever job you are applying for. You give them some bs like I am lookin gto advance myself in the field, with a company that provides the oppurtunity to grow.

Damn it I just got done typing this long a$$ post and then clicked on the preview button and the damn thing said server couldn't be find. thus when I hit the back button the post was gone. GGGGGRRRRRRRRRR!!@!!!!!!!!

Sigh oh well just keep it up Frag you will find something. You may not like it, but as long as it pays the bills for the time being. You know there is always the military. You could actually put that degree of yours to good use finally by being an officer.
