Here you go
#1- 66.35.137.253:27015
#2- 66.35.137.250:27015
#3- 66.136.74.253:27015
Any time you need to know just go up to "Current players" button at the top of this page just under the THE VILLE logo and that will tell you who's playing and the server address. You will have to install the plug in to make it work for you. There is a link to get you to the plugins home page and download center. After you have downloaded to your computer Just follow the directions and unzip to your, program files/internet explorer/plugins. There is a read me file in the zip file so if you get lost you can read that to help. I'm using windows 98 so if there is a different installation method anyone knows about with other O.S.'s please speak up. |

Thanks |

Axa, I got IE 5.5 on WinME and it works fine. The first time I tried to install it didn't work because a put the q3plugin folder into the IE plugin folder. So all I can say is to make sure it's in the right spot then restart your computer.

I went and installed it on my laptop with microsofts ME and ie5.5 and it installs the same way. It works fine so I would agree with LBC and say check to see if the DLL. is in the correct folder. and if this dosen't work try deleting it and starting over again, maybe your download is corrupt. Good luck

And once you get the plug-in working, you can just join the game right from there in the Current Players window. Using the "Join" button, natch.(To get that to work, you have to right-click in the plug-in window and set up the options. All it needs is the path to the Half-Life executable.)
Yeah, I know I already posted that elsewhere. Just trying to be helpful and lose that dreaded "Noob".

eeesh - now this has become the most frustrating thing thing this weekend - righ, to try and get this damn Q3 thing to work I have :-
Done exactly what the install thingie said
Shutdown Zone Alarm Pro just in case
Disabled all Explorer security features
Said a prayer and slaughtered a chicken
Restarted windows
Donated to a charity...
and yet STILL !!!!! it does not work

what service pack do you have on IE5.5 if it's sp2 then look at the thread on IE5.5 and IE6 that I posted. If you go to IE 6 the fix for q3plugin screwes up some other things in the browser and outlook.. |
