Not sure how that might work. It sounds like a great idea but you still need the people to be willing to change teams. At least a few key players that are dominating the game.

Jeeze guys, come on - team stacking is not a huge problem. While I couldn't probably win against a full leet league team vs me and a random noobs I could at least drop back to D and make it hell for them to steal our flag.

Also, don't confuse team stacking with team sucking. I mean, on warpath teams get *stacked* when you have 1 decent scout and a spy.

Take a look at the server lists at around 10 pm either Friday or Saturday night. TV4 is almost always full. TV1 has more bots then it has people. I see that as a huge problem.

Soccer - Scottish Premier League
Rangers vs Kilmarnock, 11 May 2003, Kick-Off 3pm

The game started rather well for Rangers, with Michael Mols scoring after just 5 minutes, having latched onto a Mikel Arteta pass and firing the ball across Killie keeper Gordon Marshall, and in off the post.
Barely two minutes later, Mols was at it again, flighting the ball into an unguarded net, after Marshall had rushed out to kick the ball away from the feet of Ronald de Boer.

After a long spell of continuously dominant play, and missing many chances to make it 3-0, Georgian striker Shota Arvelardze, having come on after half-time to replace Peter Lovenkrands, scored with a great shot into the top corner, after running the ball to the edge of the box.

As Rangers threatened to run rampant through the Kilmarnock defence, some of the Kilmarnock players disputed to the referee that the teams were unfair, and that the SPL officials in the stands should come down and force one or two of the Rangers players to play for the other side. Michael Mols and Ronald de Boer were told to fight for the Kilmarnock cause instead. Mols quickly lost interest and was substituted for Claudio Cannigia, who sneaked back into the Rangers side and scored on the 80th minute. De Boer also lost interest and was substituted with three minutes remaining.**

Final Score: Rangers 4 Kilmarnock 0

And that's why the other mods are almost full right?? Nice response . I am done with this thread now. We are working on correcting this problem. With comments like these, it's obvious you don't care to help Mul.

I've got a solution.

FROM NOW ON EVERYONE POINT AND CLICK AUTOSELECT PRIOR TO A GAME.

By choosing autoselect I feel that is the most effective way to balance the teams. And if they are not balanced enough, I guess a key player or a volunteer go SPECTATE and some key player on the opposing team SWITCH TEAMS.

I believe some regs will get flustered by this, and I feel new comers will probably be like wtfeezy, but this is the only possible way I think it can balance out the game. #Fade in #Fade in #Fade in

And for the key player who switches, I got some solutions for him/her. OMG I R GOOD CUZ I THINK OF GOOD THINGS.

The key player that switches can determine whether or not the team needs offense or defense. Once he/she determines what they need they can go offy or def to benefit their team from being slaughtered.

It will mess up your stats, but who cares about stats anyways RIGHT!!!

muhahhahahahahahahahahhaha...no

How do we know who is the key player?

Easy...we determine who is the key player by....

in no order of course:

- points/frags ie. over 100 frags
- clan affiliation ie. njk tvb nsk etc.
- regulars
- I think newcomers who are already leet should be cut some slack tho

...and that's all I can think of right now.

I believe TFC is dying and it is hard to take this in. Even though I don't like to think of it that way it is true. WE ALL NEED TO CONTRIBUTE by accepting the new players that come into theville. All regulars who frag at other servers need to be more open minded. Invite people to play here and enjoy some funneeZ and conversations.

I believe many of us who are good really do scare those who are not. Think about it when you were a noob and you entered a server filled with leet players you press the ESC key so fast because you get frustrated easily.

I feel theville needs more regulars man. We need more new players to turn into us, ie regulars who are active in the forums and who enjoy fragging here. I'd like to see more of that so try to be a supporter and invite the new comers with open arms. Teach them if you have too, try not to make them feel stupid if they asks classic noob questions.

You never know because that new comer can be a future reg., or may have so much enthusiam they can help bring back what TFC was like before

I don't know.... myself I never ever felt like "hmmmm I won't go to that server, players are too good and I will get beaten". Usually I didn't even remember the server I was in when I played. Things that made me back to the Ville server back in the day were the sound files "doh, lol, etc", and good gaming.

To me, team stacking happens 80% by random chance, and it will be hard to change that. Players join and drop the server constantly, and no matter what measure you adopt to help a team, 5 minutes later you get the reverse situation.

It dosn't matter what is or is not done. The only way to keep teams balanced is if people want to do it. Its obvious that some do care and others don't cared except for themselves.

Didn't someone once say:

"do onto others as you will have others do onto you".
