I will say that again, that black screen I see while dying is very annoying. Being in front of my screen for 10-12 seconds seeing only black is very boring. I was playing on another server this morning and I saw the difference.

I know why it was implemented, but I don't know anyway why ppl are complaining about that "pointing finger" after a kill. Back in 3.1, with free look I could wander all over the map watching all defensive positions and know where everybody was. It was way much worse than it is right now. Beside, except maybe for snipers, staying at thse same place is a sure death in DoD, pointing fingers or not.

its about time someone said this i spend 3/4th of my game dead

so looking at that mcuh black just isnt much fun...

If you get killed, the enemy probably will move on, and if they don't, then they better be hiding good...

i am pritty sure that ive seen on other servers that when you die it just shows u a view of your corpse but doesnt show who killed u (like they had in old style) is their a way to bring that back or am i just immagining things from the past.

The way it works with the new version is it will show you the location of the person who killed you. That is why the black screen was initiated. The way it used to work is you could free roam when you got killed but it didn't identify who or where the enemy was. I hate the black screen. Anything would be better at this point.

No lets put this to a vote silverone. i for one am not the biggest fan of the black screen but i find the game a little bit more enjoyable by not know where i got shot from. I don't like to know where the guy is hiding it takes some of the mystery away. Rarely is the guy in the same spot, rarely do i not know where i get shot from, and rarely do i go into the same situation as did that got me killed in the first place. I have found it enjoyable and entertaining during the black screen to watch the map with the positions of your team in large form to see how my troops are doing and it is kinda amusing to watch some of them get picked off one by one. Anyway what i am saying is lets put it to a vote.
