When did you become a regular to the ville?

Hmm i start play here before 2001 but i always take summerbrakes so somtimes i havnt play on 3 month!

I've been playing TF since day 1 when it was a Beta. I was getting my ass kicked in DM by a clan named R2 (Rangers) started by (R2)Coldsun which is the first person I believe who told me about TF. I also remember its first clans like CE,BH,UVM,Nova,GT, all great clans that started this games history.

All this time up until finding the Ville 3 server I've alway's played rouge and never returned to the same server more than once in a week. if that? My connection to all 5 of the Villes servers Suck!Thanks to my ISP.. That is ok though.. I would rather have a bad connection and get my ass beat than to have a great connection on a server packed with Respawn Camping Llamarhoids! All this time playing TF and this is the only place I really can enjoy myself.....

I also am proud to have helped many of Newbies asking the Ancient questions of- How do you throw a Grenade,or How do I set that Bomb pack,or Hey, that guy cheated.. I killed him and he cameback to life and then got me. Not knowing about how Spies work yet:D Nothing is better than seeing a Noob growup into a player able to kick your ass and remembering that you helped him. Newbies are a product of they're surroundings. you mistreat them and the odds are they will corrupt the next generation by the same actions.

TFC and its Gaming Servers are like Sex to the Ladies as "The Ville" is to it's players?
They don't want a Snack,They want a Meal!

This 'when did you become a regular' post is cool, I'm enjoying reading about some of the people behind their TF skins!

Before playing TFC, I only played the odd Quake 2 LAN with my friends. I first started playing TFC in January 2001. I first visited 'Avantiville' in the spring of 2001, and I did not enjoy playing there. This prick

. I returned to Avantiville in July or so and found myself playing in a well controlled environment (With weirdass monsters in the respawn), and I've been a regular ever since. I joined the forums in late november, mainly because I could not play (due to internet gaming connection problems) and dammit, I had to at least be able to talk about the game in some form! After throwing in a couple of ignorant/trash talking posts, I quickly had my peepee slapped by moderating admins, which showed me just how well maintained this 'Ville community is. Good Job

to all of you Ville Admins!

Since coming to the 'Ville, I have invited my friends at [Focus] to play with me, and we have had a blast. Benner, Widow Maker and Peeps are my coworkers, and range in age from 22 to 42. They don't play half as much as me because their wives/girlfriends have pretty tight leashes on them. My girlfriend works every evening (At Tim Hortons!), leaving me to do what I want. So I play TFC with every free hour I can find!

I've been addicted to "Avantiville" since February 2001. Almost quit playing TFC due to the number of cheaters everywhere (remember when it was the simple speadcheat and not wallhacks) but found the ville and have been here ever since. I remember being owned by LB, E4, and some HW named Xexre... and learning from Silverone how to steal nades :0 Keep on Fraggin

wellumm not to change the game, but thats the same reason i quit playin counter strike, every place i went to ppl were shootin me right off the bat, not on my team i might add, and ever most of the time ppl would just through nades go back to buy more and throw em again so i quit that game, but has anyone ever played on a map called boatseason or jeepathon, both awsome maps

Back in the AV days, june or early july, oh the one great server (still my favorite) I love you avantiville... when 1.08 came out i was forced off but then come october i made my return to the ville and for some reason i got a lot better with out doing any thing lol happy fragings to ya all

I was lost and now am found! (but still an [LB]!)

I've been aimlessly wandering around the almost inifnite TFC universe, hopping from server to server, but never meeting the same people twice.

Joined a clan and started a low-gravity server called [s]Mir Mirror[s]. But no website or forum to call home.

Then I stumbled onto Avantiville sometime early 2001 and ohhh, TFC has never been the same for me again! And the rest, is history...

I probably seem like a new face around here but I've played under many different names. I even thought about naming myself RandomName and changing it during battle. When did I start? I have no idea. Can't remember anything before last week. I do know that avanti is by far the coolest map and discovered two awesome servers that played avanti all the time. Afterwards I only played avantiville and concerned citizen. Then concerned citizen dissapeared from the face of the Earth. That left me with only one server. I still went through many name changes and finally decided to keep one to register in the forum. BTW Does anyone know what happened to concerned citizen?

anyone pre-july is lying TheVille wasn't created til mid-July. HAHA. I've been on the Avantiville/TheVille Servers since March 2001. I also noticed that some peeps said they were regulars from 3-6 months ago yet they haven't been signed up on the forums til recently. u can quote me on this. U ain't a regular til ur a member on the forums. BTW I was the 6 person to register on this board hehe.

I started playin TFC last september (sept 2000) when I started college, and had my first Broadband connection. I was the ole rogue player, just finding the fastest server, playing anywhere I could. Then I found a little server called Orbital Frame. I "joined" my first clan there, it was called <AFI>. The funny thing was that in order to be in the "clan" all I had to do was put the tag in my name, ah well.

I remeber playin HWGuy, then, I discovered sniping and I was hooked. After discovering sniping, I became addicted to sniper maps. I mopped up at those bad boys. My record was 100 kills in about 30 minutes. It was awesome...

Then, I got hooked on Avanti again. Set my filter to avanti, and picked a server. Then, one day in October, I think it was, I found TV1, and played for a bit. I liked the llama free atmosphere, and the palm trees. I noticed the little "Get your RealTime stats at TheVille.org" and I decided to check it out. I've been hooked ever since.

Over this winter break, I have had to work in my dorm, and while we don't have TFC on the comp at work, I did check through the forums every day, since I couldn't get my fix any other way
