gahh i cant change the size of my paging file again, it seems to liek being at 1.5gb...im tryign to make it the min allowed which is 2mb because i have plenty of ram, but XP wont let me change it, it says its changing it but its not... does anyone know if you can modify the size directly from the registry or something? _________________ my pic host-age died!

I use XP pro, and one thing I learned, they tried to make it idoit proof, so it is not easy to change anything. First Off, you must be the administrator of the PC to change the paging file.. second, it requires a reboot to take effect, I believe. Or at least moving it from one drive to another does |

In XP there is an option to have windows automatically manage the size of your page file for you, turn this off then you should be allowed to change it. _________________ Killing is my bidness ladies and BIDNESS IS GOOD!!!! |
