Last night, My Personal Insanity and I played a game of Sven Co-Op together.

This is a Half-Life multiplayer cooperative mod. Try it out for yourself.

MPI and I played a few single player maps (the support for which is BUGGY), played a couple multiplayer maps (some of which were IMPOSSIBLE becuase the enemies kept RESPAWNING), and finally got to fight with MOTHER SPLEEN(tm)!

I had fun, but good gameplay in Sven Co-Op seems dependant on getting a map appropriate for the number of people playing. For some maps, two players just isn't enough.

So has anyone else here tried Sven Co-Op? Did you like it?

i've played svenco-op a few times for myself.. it is a team base play map and works well with 4 to 8 people all on one team... and yes that mod is a little buggy on some maps for lag..

but in other words maybe sometime we can get together and play just give me an ip and i'll be glad to join u guys for some sven co-op fun.. but other wise i'll chomp, frag and have fun with you all soon

I've tried it. It was alright. Graphics are pretty good. But there aren't enough people playing it to bother even searching for an internet game (most I ever found were 3 players on an EXTREMELY laggy server).

I don't think the mod was all that well put together either. Good idea though.
