I've always thought the ville servers were pretty good as far as lag goes (oh sure, blame the server)

This page is pretty quick too..even though the forums do take a while for me. Nothin a little SQL tweaking on the backside couldn't fix thought :smile:

On a serious note however, I believe the ville is currently not in dire need of anything. (Rob, smack me down here if i'm wrong) A while back the ville was collecting for a new server, but since then Tarzan donated TV5...and there has been any all for donation since then.

So, I think I can speak for the admins here when I say just enjoy the servers, have a good time and don't work about anything else. But if the ville suddenly goes down and we need a server fast....we WILL reposess your computer

The best way to finicially support theVille is to go to the Online Store and purchase some merchandise, like a nefity no Llama mouse pad, that I purchased to replace my "The Scream" painting pad that had some indintures form slamming my mouse down out of fustration. I believe Rob may still be taking any donations(money or hardware), but you need to email him to find out the specifics.

No, we aren't currently in dyer need of anything. The best way to support it is to buy the merchandise.. Hopefully we'll have some new designs soon.

If you order now, you get a free stuffed reindeer and a "sorry for the late gift" card. (I am totally not making this up.) The reindeer doesn't seem to have any antlers, so I'm gonna pretend that mine is a stuffed llama.

OH now there would be a good addition to the merchandise line. A stuffed Llama with pins like a voodoo doll. Also I kinda like the logo:
