How many of you "walk" to your destination in TFC?

I can't even take a few steps without at least strafe jumping. Even basic skills like strafe jumping can help you. Bunny hopping is just a more advanced method of the same idea. Avoid getting shot. Be hard to kill.

I've seen HW's run down scouts like they were using walkers. Some times, you see it and think, "no way that's just a simple exploit, look how fast he is going!"

But, that's really all it is. An exploit. Valve has let it be so, as many have said here, it's just part of the game. If you just play for fun and pub most of the time, there is no need to even try to learn the hop. If you want to be competitive on a higher level, it's a skill you should probably learn. Braking it down step by step and watching sparkies or meters or whatever there is out there is just way too in depth for this video game for me. I just like to turn the game on and kill people.
