It probably goes all the way back to the movie "Strange Brew" or probably even before that. I personally think Canada rules in many ways, including universal health care and other liberal amenites.

We gave you jim carey, and a bunch of other funny comedians, we gave you tom green, shania twain, we are your biggest trading partners (were one of the reasons that america is so damn rich and powerful) We're kind. Another thing that we have is a good sense of humour, unlike some americans I know, that the second you make a joke about their country will snap your head off. I watch the simpsons, family guy south park. I find it funny when they make fun of my country. Unless they are just trying to be assholes.

One question tho... If an American goes to Canada and wants to buy something that's, say, under a dollar, doesn't that mean they owe it to us? LoL

Only real complaint I have with Canada is the damn road signs, you know how annoying it is to have to figure out English to metric and metric to English conversion in your head? Not to mention the one's in French...

A lot of the time when someone is better than someone else rather than admitting it they choose to call them names and make fun of them. thats whats happening here. Canada RULES and rather than admitting it and knowing there role they make fun of us to make themselves feel better.

Yea its pretty annoying having to convert metric to ummm american I guess unless you have my Handy Dandy '83 RX7. It was assembled in Canada and has both metric and ummm american.
