Hobofire is an excellent smaller map that should be in everyones rotation.....it plays well with 4 to 20 people.......
Just ask [Focus]Widow Maker...he'll tell ya...he will be camping by the first flag......

I used to play nothing but custom maps... in fact I've got 210 custom maps in my dod\maps folder Me thinks its well-past time to do a bit of pruning... er, a lot of pruning. lol

Lunt's idea is a good one. It would be great to see a rotation of (maybe) six maps. Possibly three top default maps, and three excellent custom maps.

One problem might be the number of players who end up getting dropped from the server when the custom maps load. Somehow you'd need to ensure the custom maps were easily available as a quick download pack, and advertise it well on MOTD and elsewhere.

When I was playing lots at Kustom Kettle, if I got cut for not having a new map - no problem! I could get it from their site, download and install, and be back in the game in four minutes.

Lunt is right about only one thing and that is Hobo Fire is a great map..... and if I did want to pick a spot to camp, I would have to kill Lunt first..... because everyone knows he is the King of Campers.
