recruiting and scouting tips

recently i been going out to alot of different servers and looking for talent,badlands,mulch and 2 fort seem to be the most prodominate.NSA...KOZ if you are looking for recruits,i would suggest leaving the ville for maby at least a hr out of your playing time and look for other guys on other servers,i would suggest badlands...2fort..and mulch dm ,alot of talent out there that doesnt come thru the ville,so go find yall some guys!

yea that sure i often play 2fort...SUX
but badlands is good
but i never find an server whith good pplz.
and its hard couse im best an avanti.

if u want real talent you gotta go out on other servers to find it...mostly the same people come in and out of the ville so you wont be able to pick up anyone....doesnt matter to me im trying to help you out,i got all the solja's i need for right now,but i can assure you 2fort badlands and mulch are home of some raw talent

I disagree Ice, if you can master Avanti, you can master any map (mainly cos it benefits no one class).
So the ville is a good place to recruit.
So long as those that those that you recruit can play other maps, then the ville is a perfectly valid place to recruit.

i know the ville is a good place to recruit that is why ive done most my recruiting on it but,what i am saying is 99% of the people on the server are alrdy tag'ed with someone or they just suck,if these guys really want some fresh meat they are gonna have to go find it,playing on one server all the time you arent gonna get any new faces..maby one a month or so....back to what i was saying on first post,if you "really" want recruits and are willing to give up some avanti time ,you gotta put in work and go out to diff servers every once in a while

Ice I also disagree about recruiting on those servers. 2Fort and Well are NOOB maps. I cannot possibly illustrate how easy it is to own anyone on those servers. Mulch would be a good map to recruit soldiers, but not much else. Warpath and Avanti seem like the best bets for recruiting. Recently I've been inviting peeps on other servers to come to the ville but they keep refusing because they know they're gonna suck the second they leave 2Fort and well. Sorry but I have to bash 2Fort some more here. It is the map of choice for spawn campers. All ya have to do is wait for a door to open or toss some grenades through a hole in the ceiling and bang, instant kills.I'm finding that if I face people 1 on 1, or 2 on 1, or up to 4 on 1 (which is no easy task when ur a soldier mind you) recruiting becomes a lot easier. I suggest using the soldier as your recruiting class since it is probably the most well rounded against all classes.

you are correct well and 2 fort are noobies map,bust also the elite graduate back to these maps,being that they are some of the harder maps to actual cap and post perfect scores on,you guys can dow hat yall wish,but if yall wanna put together such as LB has done i would suggest going out on other servers gl to you all,and lets have some dam clan matches!

i like open maps (like avanti)
i fund an recruit to KOZ today.
But thats not often.
im rather good(no expert) and play only FOR FUNNY.
is there some other open map??

Ice - I think your wrong too, just because players on ville dont have a tag that doesn't mean they suck, alot of players are really good on the ville, but just don't want to belong to a clan. Also, there alot of players that you think, "actually suck" only because they are on a shitty connection. I know, because I "suck" most of the time, but once in a blue moon I get a decent ping time and I can more than hold my own, though learning to kill with grenades would help me out considerably...

Apache has a point, but I also disagree too. Few good players come to the ville, most of the regulars are already good. I'd also like to note that this server has way more regulars than any other server I've ever played on.

In my days of cruising random servers I found that most people on 2fort and Well were just like me, Drifters. I could score some major major points in either map, easily going beyond 50 kills without going beyond 10 with my deaths without capping the flag. Capping the flag in either of these maps was not a problem for me either, did it many times and only played HW then too. Drifter people usually play for themselves and aren't dedicated to just one server, making it hard to keep track of them and organize them for teamplay.
Also alot of the regulars are tagged because they are regulars and dependable, as well as good. The regulars who aren't tagged might not have ever been formally asked, might not be interested, or their names are too long to add anything else on to them.
NSA has to be on the ball to recruit good regulars from TheVille. When a good player becomes a regular and shows some skill the other clans are usually there to pick them up, I've seen PWG do this a couple times this is why they have close to 50 members or so I beleive. So if Maian can't be on but 1 hour a day, he should appoint someone to be recruiter, and set up rules and requirements for recruiting.

I know quite a few good regulars that don't have tags (me included)...but thats no reason why you can't bring talent from outside sources. Even if 2Fort is a newbmap is doesn't mean everyone there is a llama. I still play 2Fort occassionally and I've had some good matches. Teamplay, strategy...the works. Alot of these players would be an asset to most clans and the ville as a whole.

Besides, i've found that TV's stats drive away most of the newer players because they don't like to be reminded that they suck. Inviting people to TV and seeing if they stick around will be your best way to find new blood for the local clans....

Ya, 2 Fort, and Well, are nooooooob maps! I appreciate the advice, but I only like to recruit on the ville, because thats where we play. If I were to go out to other servers, and recruit people, I would probably never see them on the ville. And speaking of newbies, am I the only one who noticed all the newbies recently storming the ville. Honestly, I just played with 3 players named player. And its been like that for a few days. Anyone have an explination?

Part of it is that there are 3 servers now, soon to be 4 (thanks guys).

Another part of it is that once you play here and find out there are not only very good players here, but lots of good people, you want to spread the word. I've invited lots of my frinds who play to come by. Most who do come back often.

Nothing makes me more angry than playing on another public server and having to deal with llamas, respawn campers, cheaters or endless trash talking. That kind of crap isn't tolerated here.
