Ok I need a new mouse, mine doesn't respond very well, and I usually have to roll it accross the width of the mouse pad several times before it responds.
I'd like to get an optical mouse. At the moment i'm looking at a Logitech mx 500 optical mouse. Can anyone suggest any other good optical mice that respond well and are able to move fairly quickly without getting choppy? (and are preferably cheap as dirt) |

Ya, I use a Microsoft optical mouse. Nice cause it has 4 buttons and the mousewheel, plus you can press the mw down and you actually end up with a 5th button. |

Mine is a lot more pricey than the microsoft. I am using a Sony optical mouse. I got this one because it has a port in the back of it for the Sony memory sticks that my wife uses for her pictures. _________________

Any good optical mouse will work. I use a Logitech wireless optical mouse. I never use it in game though because I'm so used to using the mouse pad and arror keys to move and aim. _________________

Logitech has a new rechargable wireless optical that looks the bomb!!
Of course, $100 for a mouse might be a bit much. But I like logitech anyhow.... _________________

I use an optical Logitech wheel mouse. Only cost $20.
I like Logitech too. They make some of the best controllers I've seen. _________________

Don't bet on it.
Definitely go with optical. I also use a M$ mouse with 4 buttons. I have the wireless one, but it is soley USB and I have problems with it (too many USB peripherals I think--they all seem to want to be plugged in directly, not through an extention hub.) _________________

I used to use that one. It works really well, but I got annoyed with the wire. I have too many other wires all over the place . _________________
