Need more help...

When I get into a map, after a few moments (but up to a couple of minutes), the game mysteriously exits completely to the desktop.

Is there a bug specific to Windows2000 Pro? Or do I have a corrupt copy?

Any suggestions...

not a clue i have a craked version of Win2k pro and it works fine

Change your video mode or update your drivers, thats most likely what causing it.

All I can do is elminate win2k pro.. works fine. I used to have trouble w/ acrop2, and it went away.... I think the earlier suggestion to change drivers, and video modes would be a good idea

I haven't had time to try. I'm getting ready to move, in a week, and I don't have time to mess with it.

Besides, it can't be as good as TFC.

I'll get there eventually. But I really do appreciate the suggestions.
